Sitting in the very heart of London’s exclusive Mayfair district, this imposing terracotta-clad building received a full external refurbishment.
Originally constructed at the turn of the 20th century, the building required extensive repair, using traditional construction methods undertaken by artisan craftsmen.
These included sections of terracotta stone being recast, extensive Welsh slate and leadwork repairs.
Other works included full access scaffold, stone cleaning and brick replacements, joinery repairs and redecorations.
A key element of the project was to ensure minimal disruption to the retail units whilst works were being completed. Our site management team worked closely with the tenants to ensure that ‘Business as Usual’ was maintained throughout.
